Counsel for the appellant/petitioner :Mr. C.V. Bhaskar Reddy Counsel for Respondents/Respondents:G.P. for Panchayat Raj & Rural Development 26th December, 2005 Per G.S. Singhvi, CJ This is an appeal for setting aside order dated 24-10-2005 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.M.P.No.29239 of 2005 (W.P. No.22821 of 2005) whereby he rejected the appellant’s prayer for setting aside of orders dated 05-02-2005 and 26-09-2005 passed by District Collector (Panchayat Wing), Karimnagar and Principal Secretary to Government (Panchayat Raj and Rural Development) respectively under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 in the matter of the appellant’s suspension from the post of Sarpanch. After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the appellant submitted that his client will feel satisfied if the Court issues a direction to respondents 2 and 3 to complete the enquiry pending against him within a specified time-frame. Learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development says that enquiry pending against the appellant will be completed within a maximum period of four weeks from today. In view of the statements made by the learned counsel for the parties, we do not consider it necessary to go into the merits of the order of the learned Single Judge or the orders impugned in the writ petition and dispose of the appeal with a direction that the enquiry pending against the appellant shall be completed and appropriate order passed by the competent authority within a period of four weeks from today. Learned Counsel for the appellant says that W.P. No.22821 of 2005 filed by his client challenging order dated 26-09-2005 may also be disposed of in similar terms. Ordered accordingly. G.S. SINGHVI, C.J. Date:26-12-2005 PV R. SUBHASH REDDY, J
