12.12.2022 ORDER Heard Mr. T. Chutia, learned counsel appearing for the applicants. Also heard Mr. D. Das, learned Addl. P.P, Assam appearing for the State. Page No.# 2/2 The applicants herein have approached this Court by filing this application under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with the Barbaruah P.S. Case No.115/2022 registered under section 11(1)(a)(b) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960 read with Section 13 of the Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021. The learned Addl. P.P. has produced the Case Diary. I have gone through the same. The statement of the applicants have already been recorded by the I.O. After going through the Case Diary, I do not find any justifiable ground to deny the privilege of pre-arrest bail to the applicants. As such, it is hereby provided that in the event of arrest of the applicants viz., Sofiqul Alom Choudhury and Abdul Barek in connection with the Barbaruah P.S. Case No.115/2022, they shall be released on bail on furnishing bond of Rs.30,000/- each and one local surety each of the like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority.
