Mr. Barman, learned counsel for the petitioner has produced written instructions dated 2.1.2012 furnished to him by the Superintendent of Police, Sonitpur, Tezp ur. As per the said written instructions, the suspected accused person involved in Missamari P.S. Case No.86/2012 registered under Section 365/325/34 IPC took shelter in the house of the petitioner from where he was taken to the police sta tion by the police for interrogation and thereafter, handed over to the family m embers. He submits that proper investigation and interrogation is required. How ever, he fairly submits that there should be no unnecessary harassment to the fa mily members. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of providing that while th e police will carry out the investigation to bring the matter to a logical concl usion but the petitioner should not be unnecessarily harassed. In other words, the investigation be carried out following due procedure in accordance with law.
