12.12.2022 ORDER Heard Mr. S. M. Abdullah, the learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. B. B. Gogoi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, for the State of Assam. By this application under Section 438 Cr.P.C., the petitioner, namely, Khairul Page No.# 2/2 Islam is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Bokakhat P.S. Case No. 113/2022 under Sections 13(1) of Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021 read with Section 11(1) (d) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960. This Court under its order dated 29.09.2022, granted interim protection to the petitioners and pursuant to such order, the petitioners had appeared before the I.O. and produced certain documents in support of purchase of the cattle and the documents relating to the vehicle. After perusal of the case diary and the said papers, this Court is of the considered opinion that no custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required for the purpose of investigation. Accordingly, this bail application is closed making the interim order of bail dated 29.09.2022 absolute JUDGE Comparing Assistant
