04.12.2025 ORDER Heard Mr. S. Islam, learned counsel appearing for the accused/applicant. Also heard Mr. B. Sarma, learned Addl. P.P., Assam Page No.# 2/3 appearing for the State. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for pre-arrest bail to the accused/applicant, viz., Abed Ali in connection with Mukalmua P.S. Case No.177/2025 registered under Sections 299/352 of the BNS, 2023 read with Section 13(1) of the Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021 and Section 11(1)(e) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. The allegation against the accused/applicant as alleged in the F.I.R. dated 16.07.2025 is that the accused/applicant allegedly sold beaf within the radius of 5 Kms. of a religious place. The learned Addl. P.P. submits that in the instant case Charge-sheet has already been filed vide Charge-Sheet No.195/2025 dated 28.08.2025. In view of the filing of the Charge-sheet, the learned counsel appearing for the accused/applicant submits that he should be protected till the time he appears before the Trial Court for appropriate relief. Taking into account the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respective parties, this Court extends the interim bail so granted by this Court vide order dated 13.08.2025 till appearance of the accused/applicant before the Trial Court within 10 days of passing of the instant order. In view of the aforesaid direction, the instant A. B. Application stands disposed of. Page No.# 3/3 JUDGE Comparing Assistant
