22.05.2025 ORDER Heard Mr. A. N. Iqbal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. K. K. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State. 2) By this application filed under Section 483 BNSS, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Mohidur Islam @ Mofijul Islam @ Mofidul Islam, son of Nurul Amin, resident of village- Jaramari, Police Station-Dhing, District-Nagaon is praying for his bail in Special (POCSO) Case No. 02/2025, arising out of Dhing Police Station Case No. 221/2024, registered under Sections 61(2)/126(2)/137(2)/74/70(2)/109/78 BNS, 2023 read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act, 2012, wherein the petitioner was arrested on 03.11.2024 and is in custody since then. 3) On instruction of the petitioner, his counsel Mr. A. N. Iqbal is not pressing this bail application filed by the petitioner in Dhing Police Station Case No. 221/2024, to which Mr. K. K. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam has no objection. 4) Accordingly, this bail application, being withdrawn, stands dismissed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
