These applications under Section 438 Cr.P.C. have been filed by the accused/petitioners, namely, Sri Partha Protim Boruah, Sri Sankarjyoti Boruah, Sri Paran Jyoti Pachani and Sri Babadhan Ali, praying for bail, apprehending the ir arrest in connection with Jakhalabandha PS Case No.165/2013 under Sections 44 7/427/294/34 IPC read with Section 3 of Prevention of Damage of Public Property Act. Heard Mr. S.R. Rabha, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. N.J. Dutta, learned Addl. PP, Assam. I have also perused the case dairy. The allegation against the petitioners are that they had manhandled doc tors of a hospital. However, the witnesses have not implicated the petitioners i n the aforesaid offence. Accordingly, the interim bail orders dated 3.9.2013 and 6.9.2013 are hereby made absolute. The petitioners are directed to appear before the I.O. within 10 days from to-d ay and shall co-operate in the investigation. With the aforesaid directions, this AB stands disposed of.
