AB 4160/2013 BEFORE HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE A. K. GOSWAMI Heard Mr. S Das, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. K Munir, lea rned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. By this application under Section 438 Cr.PC, the petitioner, namely, Sri. Suman Majumdar prays for pre-arrest bail in connection with Dispur P.S. Case No. 1764/ 2013 under Sections 354(D)/384/387/507 IPC. The petitioner is a student of B.Com 1st year at Swadeshi Academy, Ulubari, Guwa hati. I have perused the case diary produced by Mr. Munir. On consideration of the materials available in the case diary, I allow this pre- arrest bail application providing that in the event of arrest of the petitioner in the aforementioned case, he shall be released on bail of Rs. 15,000/- with tw o local sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authori ty. It is further provided that the petitioner will report to the I/O of the case ev ery 10 (ten) days for the next 2 (two) months. It is also provided that the petitioner will not directly or indirectly and in a ny manner cause any harassment to Ms. Tasfia Sultana. He shall execute a bond to that effect and submit the same before the I/O.
