Separate Bail Applications under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (‘B.N.S.S.’) have been filed on behalf of the Petitioners Amrik Singh and Gurdeep Singh Gujaral respectively for grant of Regular Bail in FIR No.0131/2025 under Section 308(5) BNS, 2023, registered at P.S.: Mayapuri, Delhi. 4. Brief facts of the case are that as per Complainants Davinder Singh, Gurjeet Singh and Ajeet Singh, both Petitioners Amrik Singh (Lovely) and Gurdeep Singh Gujaral had demanded Rs.15,00,000/- for allowing them to continue the businesses by Complainants and they also threatened that if the Complainants did not want to give the money, they could report the matter to the Police authorities. Thereafter, videos have been recorded to show that extortion demands were made by the Petitioners. 5. It is submitted that Petitioner Amrik Singh is aged about 40 years and Petitioner Gurdeep Singh Gujral is aged about 62 years and they are son and father respectively, who run their own business in Mayapuri, Delhi. It is also submitted that they have been falsely implicated in this case as no death threats were given to the Complainant or any other witness by any of the Petitioners. Alleged video is not genuine as the same pertains to the year 2022, while as per the Complaint, it was shot in the year 2025. Prayer is therefore, made for grant of Bail. 6. Learned counsel for the Complainant submits that considering the medical condition, he has no objection to grant of Bail to the Petitioners. Submission heard and record perused. 9. Considering the allegations of extorting money being made in the Complaint and that the Petitioners are in judicial custody for the last more than six months. The Chargesheet has already been filed and trial is likely to take long to conclude. 10. Considering their incarceration and that the trial is likely to take long, the Petitioners/Accused are granted Regular Bail, on the following terms and conditions: a) The Petitioners/Accused shall furnish a personal bond of Rs.35,000/- each and one surety each of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court; b) The Petitioners/Accused shall appear before the Court as and when the matter is taken up for hearing; c) The Petitioners/Accused shall provide their mobile numbers/ changed mobile numbers to the IO concerned, which shall be kept in working condition at all times; d) The Petitioners/Accused shall not indulge in any criminal activity and shall not communicate or intimidate the This is a digitally signed order.
