3. This writ petition is filed by the petitioners seeking directions to protect their life and liberty from the hands of the family members of Petitioner no.1.

4. It is the case of the petitioners that they got married without the consent of the parents of Petitioner No.1 due to which they have been continuously threatening and harassing the petitioners.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that a complaint in that regard was given to the police on 10.02.2025, however, no action has been taken by the police. He submits that the family members of Petitioner No.1 have continuously been This is a digitally signed order.

He submits that the petitioners have attained majority and have right to live peacefully with each other.

6. The learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that the Authorities will treat this petition as a representation and appropriate action will be taken if required. He additionally submits that the phone number of the concerned beat officer will be provided to the petitioners and they are at liberty to call the beat officer in case they apprehend threat to their life and liberty.

7. He, however, submits that no action can be taken at this stage in case the family members of Petitioner no.1 make a call and speak to their daughter.

8. In view above, no further orders are required to be passed at this stage. Petitioners are at liberty to approach appropriate forum in case of any grievance remains in the future.
