2. Learned counsel for ICAR submits that pursuant to the MOP-UP round out of 33 candidates 25 candidates have already been allocated seats. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioners could not be allotted any seats as 25 students have been allocated seats in colleges in terms of the seniority, eligibility and the available seats and other rules. 3. Perusal of the prayers made in the writ petitioners indicates that the prayers were limited to extending the cut-off date for submissions of Provisional Degree Certificates (PDC) for candidates from Maharashtra This is a digitally signed order. In terms of the prayer the matter was taken up on 24.01.2025, the petitioners were permitted to appear in the MOP-UP round starting on 08.02.2025. The direction was made pursuant to the submission of Dr. S.R. Sharma, Controller of Examination wherein it was stated that if the petitioners have their PDCs, they will be allowed appear in the MOP-UP round and will be allocated seats based on their seniority, eligibility and the availability of the seats. Thus the order dated 24.01.2025 indicates that the petitioners were duly permitted to appear in the MOP-UP round. It is pertinent to mention that by that time the petitioners had even got their Provisional Degree Certificates (PDCs).

7. The seats have been allotted on the basis of seniority, eligibility and the availability of the seats. Even otherwise, the prayers made in the present petitions have already been fulfilled. Thus, since the MOP-UP round has already been completed and all the seats have already been allocated, nothing survives in the present petitions.
