This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with following reliefs: “10.1 That thus Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ of CERTIORARI and directing the respondent No.1 to take steps to supply the information regarding the allotment of house 2 No. MIG-II/54 situated at Housing Board Colony, Industrial Area, Bhilai, Dist-Durg (C.G.).
10.2 That this Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to issue any writ or direction or order as deem fit in the interest of justice.”
By way of the instant petition, the petitioner is challenging the order dated 24.04.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed in Second Appeal No. A/1013/2024, whereby respondent No.1 has dismissed the appeal on the ground that the original allottee has not given his consent to supply the information and the application does not reflect that the same is related to any public interest, therefore, petitioner is not entitled to get the copy of information as sought by him.
During course of the arguments, this Court finds that the relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition cannot be granted under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, therefore, this writ petition is not maintainable.
