they are disposed of by this common order. 2. For the sake of convenience, the facts are picked up from WPC No. 2503/2025 as a lead case. 3. The relief sought for by the petitioners is as under: “10. That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ/order directing respondents authority to the comply with the communication dated 12/11/2024 by Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Protection State of Chhattisgarh. 10.2 That this Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate direction commanding and directing the respondents authority to pay the all expenses borne by the petitioner to keep the paddy safe. 11 10.3 That the respondents may kindly be directed to provide the benefit of loss of paddy due to dryness and change of climatic conditions in light of clarification communicated vide letter 12/11/2024.” 4. The facts in brief are that the present petitions are not made against any particular order but they are against the illegal and arbitrary action of the respondents department who have not lifted the paddy from the paddy procurement center and also not provided the proper facility to keep the paddy in safe condition. As per the guidelines of the State Govt. the complete purchased paddy shall be lifted and transported from the procurement centre within one month from the last date of purchase i.e. 31.01.2025 and more than the buffer stock fixed by the State Government will be lifted immediately when the stock is crossed by the buffer limit, but in the present case the centre is closed for purchasing the paddy since 31.01.2025 and more than 1 month has elapsed but till the date the paddy has not been lifted which caused huge loss on account of seasonal change. Number of applications and request letters for this purpose have been transmitted to the respondents authority just from the date of closing the centers for purchasing but no action has been taken and at present the bags in which the paddy was kept lost their weight due to sudden change in climate and to protect the paddy the petitioners have to engage the labours and also appointed Chowkidar to prevent theft etc and the same causes loss to the society. The paddy was purchased in the month of November to January and the weight is reduced due to dryness of paddy which also causes the loss to the society. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that that identical issue which is involved in this batch of petitions had already come up for consideration in number of writ petitions, one of them being WPC No. 1502/2025. He submits that this Court while disposing of that along with other connected petitions directed the respondents to take a decision on the representations of the petitioners within a period of 90 days therefrom by passing a reasoned order. He submits that since the issue has already 12 been set at rest in the above mentioned petition, these writ petitions may also be disposed of in terms of the said order. This proposition has not been objected to by the learned counsel for the respondents. 6. Heard counsel for the parties and perused the documents on record. 7. This Court while disposing of the WPC No. 1502/2025 observed as under: “17.Considering the aforesaid aspect of the matter and submissions advanced by the parties, this Court directs the petitioners to submit an appropriate representation along with a copy of this order before the Central and the State Governments to consider the issue and for redressal of their grievances within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the authorities concerned, in turn, shall consider and decide the said representations while passing a reasoned order within a further period of 90 days in accordance with law.” 8. Since according to learned counsel for the petitioners the issue involved in this bunch of petitions is identical to that of the one decided in WPC No. 1502/2005, they submit that these petitions may also be disposed of in the same terms. Accordingly, this Court is of the opinion that these petitions can also be disposed of in terms of the order passed on 29.04.2025. Accordingly, it is directed that the petitioners herein shall make a representation to respondent No.1/competent authority within a period of 15 days from today detailing all their grievances therein and on that being done the competent authority shall decide the same within a further period of 90 days from the date of receipt of the same. Needless to mention here that the representation to be filed shall be appended by a copy of this order. 9. Being so the petitions are hereby disposed of in view of the observations and directions made herein above. It is however clarified that the merit aspect of the case has not been commented upon while passing this order.
