With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard finally. 2. By way of the present petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- (a) Call for entire records from the respondents pertaining to the case of the petitioner. 10(b) Issue appropriate writ/writs to the respondent authorities to consider the claim of the petitioners as per clause 2.1(e) of the Rehabilitation Policy 2007. 10(c) To direct the respondent authorities to decide the pending representation of the petitioners dated 14.12.23 (Annexure P-5) within stipulated time frame work in the interest of justice. 3. By way of the instant petition, the petitioners are challenging the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in not considering their case for grant of resettlement and rehabilitation benefits on account of acquisition of their lands for the purposes of Talaipali 8 / 8 Coal Mining Project of NTPC, Gharghoda Block, District Raigarh. 4. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners would confine his prayer to grant liberty to the petitioners to file afresh representation and direct the respondent authorities to decide the representation filed by the petitioners. 5. Learned counsel for Respondents No.2 to 4/SECL submits that he has no objection and they are ready to decide the representation filed by the petitioners. 6. petitioners, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the petitioners shall file afresh representation along with all the relevant documents within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order before the Respondents No.2 to 4 and on such representation being filed, the respondent authorities/SECL shall decide the same expeditiously as soon as possible, in accordance with law, on its own merits. 7. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall decide the representation filed by the petitioner on its own merits.
