Mr. Shashank Thakur, learned Deputy Advocate General appearing for the State/respondents states that he has received instructions in the matter and has also produced a letter dated 06- 02-2025 of Superintending Engineer, Public Works Department, Bastar Mandal Jagdalpur and it is stated that the reply of the petitioners in pursuance of the Show Cause Notice was not decided within 8 weeks as was directed by this Court in WPC No.5244/2024 and other batch of petitions vide order dated 25- 10-2024 and fresh NIT has been issued and it is stated by the State counsel that three weeks’ time may be allowed to the respondent to decide the reply of the petitioners which is pending consideration and thereafter, the respondent would proceed with the NIT issued on 31-12-2024. 2. Considering the fact that the petitioners have again approached this Court for redressal of their grievance, though the petitioners

earlier filed petitions which were disposed of on 25-10-2024, but no order has been passed on the reply given by the petitioners in pursuance of the Show Cause Notice issued with respect to the NIT and fresh NIT has been issued on 31-12-2024 on which this Court expresses its displeasure with respect to the act and conduct of the respondent No.3, and hence, as the State counsel has prayed that the matter would be considered within the aforesaid period, in view of the same, it is directed that the reply 12 of the petitioners which is pending consideration in compliance of this Court’s order shall be decided within further three weeks’ as has been prayed for and the fresh NIT dated 31-12-2024 issued is hereby quashed leaving it open to the respondents to proceed in accordance with law accordingly. 3.
