The petitioners have the present contempt applications claiming wilful disobedience of the order dated

19.9.2011 passed in a batch of writ petitions headed by CWJC No. 2689 of 2011 (Dr.Satya Brat Singh & Ors. vs. The T.M.Bhagalpur University & Ors.). By the said order an interim direction was issued to ensure that if any amount has not been paid then the same should be paid to the petitioners as per the earlier order dated

3.11.2010. In the various show causes filed on behalf of the T.M.Bhagalpur University it is now stated that all the admissible dues as per the direction of this Court have been paid to all the petitioners and in the case of a few of them excess amount has been found to have been paid. Patna High Court MJC No.2732 of 2012 (13) dt.05-11-2014 4 Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the said excess paid amount is on account of recovery which is contrary to the subsequent orders passed in respect of similarly situated persons. In my view, a mere showing of certain amounts as having been paid in excess does not amount to any disobedience, much less wilful, of the interim order of this Court.
