01.07.2009 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.

2. Petitioners were applicants for the post of constable pursuant to Advertisement Nos. 1/2004 and 2/2004. They appeared the selection test pursuant advertisement, but were not called for appointment/ verification of their testimonials.

3. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they faired well in the selection test, but for the reasons best known to the authorities, they were not called for appointment/ 4 verification of their testimonials.

4. Let the petitioners file representation before the Chairman of the Selection Board before whom they appeared and underwent the selection test. The representation be considered and disposed of by a reasoned order in accordance with law, as early as possible, in any case within one months from the date of receipt of the representation.
