JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 8 21-01-2013 Petitioners of all the five writ petitions are non teaching Patna High Court CWJC No.1851 of 2011 (8) dt.21-01-2013 4/4 employees in different colleges under the Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, Bihar. Their grievance is that they have not been paid their salary since March 2000. This Court time and again granted indulgence to the University to file counter affidavit. Belatedly, the University started payment of current salary to the petitioners but they did not take any effective steps for payment of arrears of salary payable to them from March, 2010. The employees are entitled to payment of their admitted salary and the respondent- University cannot State over it and deny the same on one flimsy ground or the other. The University has not brought before any tangible material for non payment of salary to them since March, 2010 onwards. In the circumstances, the University is directed to make payment of arrears of salary admissible to the petitioners within three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. The State would release necessary funds, if not done earlier. With the aforesaid directions all the five writ petitions
