This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution is filed by the students in the trade of Diesel Mechanic for direction to the respondents-the Controller of Examination, Department of Employment and Training, Government of Bihar to allow the writ petitioners to take the ensuing trade test conducted by the National Council for Vocational Training.
Decision
The writ petitioners have attended the training course conducted by the Verma Pvt. Industrial Training Institute, District- Patna. They have not been permitted to take the aforesaid test for the reason that the said Institute is not recognized by the State of Bihar. It is the case of the State Government that the concerned Institute is not recognized by the State. The students are, therefore, not allowed to take the trade test given by the 5 Patna High Court CWJC No.13537 of 2013 (6) dt.21-08-2013 5 / 5 National Council for Vocational Training. As it is evident, the examination was scheduled from 21st July 2013 to 31st July 2013. In view of the passage of time, the petition has become infructuous. The petition is accordingly disposed of.
