Judgment
Operative part
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is named accused of a case which has been registered under section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant’s daughter Nazo Bibi was married with the son of the petitioner. The allegation is that she was subjected to torture for demand of additional dowry by her in laws. Later on she was killed. Submission is that the petitioner is aged about seventy years and there is no specific allegation against her. There is no definite opinion regarding cause of death. The death is within seven years of marriage and there is allegation of demand of dowry and torture against the petitioner also. Considering the allegation I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly her prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. Md.S. (Shyam Kishore Sharma,J.)
