Judgment

High Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in releasing the arrears of Dearness allowance from time to time, Group insurance scheme(GIS) monthly contributions for the period from 09-08- 2007 to 7-9-2012, pending annual regular increments from 2008 to 2012 and updated service register (SR) with the certificate of 2 verification of services from 2007 to 2012, pending one month salary of March 2011 as illegal, arbitrary and violation of Education Act 1892 and consequently direct the 1st respondents to release the all arrears, by update service register of the petitioner and pass IA NO: 1 OF 2018 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the 1st respondent to release all arrears, pending salary, the update service register, pending disposal of main Writ Petition and pass Counsel for the Petitioner:

CHAKRAVARTHI WRIT PETITION NO: 41450 of 2018 The Court made the following Order: Heard Sri U.Ramanjaneyulu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Butta Vijaya Bhaskar, learned Standing Counsel for the Respondent University.

In pursuance of the Order dated 14.07.2025, the Registrar, Sri Venkateswara University, appeared before this Court through Video Conference.

Learned Standing Counsel for the University on written instructions would submit that as per the proceedings vide No. E.II(2)/CCNo.999/Economics-KDLJ/2007-24 dated 01.08.2025, the pay of the petitioner has been re-fixed with effect from the date of the joining in the University as Assistant Professor on the Afternoon of 09.08.2007 as detailed in the said proceedings. It is further submitted that the petitioner will be paid salary and arrears as per the re-fixation mentioned in the said proceedings and in accordance with the Rules.

In the light of the submission made by learned Additional Government Pleader, Sri U.Ramanjaneyulu, learned counsel for 4 the petitioner would submit that recording the same, the present Writ Petition may be closed.

Upon hearing the learned counsel on both sides and in view of the proceedings vide No.E.II(2)/CCNo.999/Economics- KDLJ/2007-24 dated 01.08.2025, this Court is of the considered opinion that the present Writ Petition can be closed, observing that the petitioner is entitled to salary and arrears, as per the Rules in vogue.
