: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to pleased to issue a writ order, or direction more particularly in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents No.1 2 is not regularizing the services of petitioners in terms of the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Regularization of Services of Contract Employees Act, 2023 (Act 30/2023) the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.114 Finance (HR-I Policy) Department dt.21- 10-2023 in spite of the proposals being sent by the 3rdrespondent vide letter R.C.No.Ser.ll.2/2641177/2024 dt.06-12-2024 is arbitrary, illegal and in violation of Article 14, 16, 21 and 41 of the Constitution of India, and to issue a consequential direction to the respondents to regularize services of the petitioners as Junior Lecturers from the date of their i.ntial appointment as per the proposal dt.06-12- 2024 sent by the 3rd respondent the respondent No.1 and 2 in terms the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Services of Contract Employees Act, 2023 ( Act 30/2023) and also G.O.Ms.No.114 Finance (HR-I Policy) Department dt.21-10- 2023 with all monetary benefits including pension and pensionary benefits forthwith, and to pass IA NO: 1 OF 2025 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased pleased to direct the respondents No.1 and 2 to pass orders on the proposal submitted by the 3rdrespondent dt.06-12- 2024 forthwith and to pass Counsel for the Petitioner(S):

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. With the consent of both the learned counsel, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission.
The instant writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners for regularization in terms of the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Regularization of Services of Contract Employees Act, 2023 (for short, ‘Act 30 of 2023’) dated 21.10.2023.
It was submitted that the petitioners were initially appointed as a Junior Lecturers on contract basis in their respective colleges against the regular vacancies on full-time basis. The Government of Andhra Pradesh enacted Act 30 of 2023 providing regularization of services of persons appointed on contract basis on or before 02.06.2014, who are continuing in Government Departments among other parameters prescribed in Section 3 thereof.
Learned Government Pleader for services would submit that cases of persons similarly placed are also under consideration and an appropriate decision would be taken.
Having regard to the submissions made, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to examine the case of petitioners for regularization of their service in terms of the Andhra Pradesh Regularization of Service of Contract Employees Act, 2023, within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
