2. Heard Smt.Anuradha Kannedhara, learned counsel for petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader Services-ll, appearing respondents 1 5 and Sri S.Venkateswarlu, learned standing counsel, appearing respondents 2 to 4.
3. Petitioner’s father died in harness while working as Tyre Mechanic respondent corporation succumbing 2 CGR, J WP. No.11131 of 2025 COVID-19. He has survived by wife and daughter. Petitioner has made application dated 03.08.2021 to 4'^ respondent claiming compassionate appointment and the same is stated to be pending, Petitioner has submitted required documents including that of no objection from her mother. As no action is forthcoming, petitioner has submitted representations

15.07.2024 to 2""^ respondent. however, the same are also not considered so far. Petitioner being married, claims benefit of compassionate appointment in terms of G.O.Ms.No.350, dated 30.07.1999. As respondents have not considered her applications, she preferred present writ petition.
4. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that as claim made by petitioner has not considered and decided so far, it would suffice to direct the 5^^ respondent - District Collector, who is competent authority to decide her application.
5. Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 5 and learned standing appearing for other respondents submit that as petitioner’s applications are pending, the same will be considered in accordance with law. 3 CGR, J W.P. No.11131 of 2025

Petitioner has made application to 4*'^ respondent, as now the respondent Corporation is merged with Government, the 5^*^ respondent would be appropriate authority to consider and pass appropriate orders on the said application. In view of the same, this writ petition is disposed of directing 4*'^ respondent to forward petitioner’s application dated 03.08.2021 along with the documents filed to 5”^ respondent within two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, who in turn shall consider the same and pass appropriate speaking orders based on eligibility of petitioner within a period of six weeks thereafter. It is needless to observe that in case respondents require any further documents or clarification, it is open for them to call for the same from the petitioner and petitioner shall furnish such documents before final decision is taken.
