Counsel for the Respondents: 4 The Court made the following order: Challenging the proceedings dated 21.03.2023 issued by respondent No.3 in No.70.Q/70000515220001001, whereby the petitioner’s bank account bearing Account No.62052394399 maintained with respondent No.5 was frozen to an extent of Rs.18,12,106/-, and the consequential action of respondent Nos.4 and 5 in not permitting the petitioner to operate the said bank account, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. Heard Ms. Haritha, learned counsel representing Ms. Panguluru Rachana, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri U.R.P. Srinivas, learned counsel appearing for the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) for respondent Nos.2 and 3, and Sri Satyanarayana Dhara, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-Bank for respondent Nos.4 and 5.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, pursuant to the subsequent determination made by the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, the amount payable by the petitioner is Rs.3,21,230/-. She further submits that the matter has been amicably settled out of Court and that nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the present Writ Petition.

Perused the order dated 23.07.2026 passed by respondent No.2- Deputy Director, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, under Section 125 of the Code on Social Security, 2020 filed along with the additional documents. A perusal of the said order shows that the contributions payable by the petitioner for the periods from 08/2014 to 11/2014 and from 06/2017 to 5 07/2018 were finally determined at Rs.3,25,032/-. However, after adjustment of the contribution already paid for the period from 08/2014 to 11/2014, amounting to Rs.3,802/-, the balance amount payable by the petitioner is Rs.3,21,230/-.

In view of the order dated 23.07.2026 passed by respondent No.2 and considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter has been settled out of Court, this Court is inclined to dispose of the Writ Petition with the following directions: i) The respondent-Bank is directed to permit the petitioner to operate her bank account bearing Account No.62052394399 forthwith. ii) The petitioner shall ensure payment of the balance amount of Rs.3,21,230/- to the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation towards the contribution finally determined by respondent No.2 under the order dated 23.07.2026.

6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
